Oggetto di studio del presente lavoro sono i fenomeni di instabilità naturale che caratterizzano l’altaVal Sangone (TO). In primo luogo sono state analizzate le caratteristiche fi siche, geologiche, geomorfologichee idrologiche della porzione montana del bacino. Attraverso un’approfondita ricerca storicasono state individuate le problematiche più frequenti nel corso di eventi meteorici eccezionali e learee maggiormente colpite.È stata valutato il volume di detrito mobilizzabile nel reticolo idrografi co minore, che potrebbe essereriversato nel Torrente Sangone durante un evento alluvionale che coinvolga la testata della valle.Infi ne, con un apposito software è stato simulato un debris fl ow che interessò il Rio Tauneri ed èstato calcolato lo spessore di detrito che la corrente è in grado di asportare in tre tratti dell’alveodello stesso rio, al fi ne di valutarne la pericolosità rispetto all’innesco di colate detritiche.
Analysis of historical fl oods and landslides in Val Sangone (TO). In the paper landslidesand consequences of fl oods along watercourses in the upper Sangone catchment has been investigated.The physical, geologic, geomorphologic and hydrological aspects of mountainous portionof the catchment have been studied. A research about historical fl oods was carried out in order toidentify the most critical areas in the valley during exceptional rainfalls.An evaluation was accomplished of the debris volume that could be delivered in the Sangone Streamduring a fl ood involving all the hydrografi c network at the head of the valley.Using a proper software a simulation of a debris fl ow in the Tauneri Stream was carried out andthe thickness of debris that could be removed by the fl ow was calculated, in order to evaluate thedebris fl ow hazard along the stream.
Analyse des inondations historiques et des mouvements de terrain dans la vallée dutorrent Sangone (TO). Dans cet article on décrit les mouvements de terrain et les conséquencesdes inondations qui caractérisent la vallée du torrent Sangone (TO). Les caractéristiques physiques,géologiques, géo-morphologiques et hydrologiques de la portion montagneuse du bassin ont étéanalysée. Les informations collectionnées par une recherche relative aux inondations historiques ontpermis d’identifi er les situations les plus critiques en conséquence de précipitations exceptionnelles.On a enfi n conduit une évaluation de la quantités des matériaux à risque d’écoulement en hautevallée, qui se peut répandre dans le Torrent Sangone en cas d’un événement exceptionnel, et ausside la hauteur des sédiments que le Tauneri peut entraîner en charriage.
