Olimpias, not completely free or forever slave: greek law in roman Pisidia.

The analysis of a Pisidian funerary marble altar – laying on four faces characters in relief and texts enrolled in Greek related to the family of Aurelius Demetrius, his three children (two males, Aurelius Mabdias and Aurelius Rhodon, and a daughter, Aurelia Marcia) and his grandchildren (two boys descendants of the two sons) – allows to recon-struct the genealogical tree of this family lived between the late second and the second half of the third century AD and to study the role of Olympias, depicted on bomós next to Marcia and bound by legal institute of paramoné.

Keywords: Roman Empire, Pisidia, slavery, law, paramoné.
