The paper focuses on the analysis of epigraphic and numismatic evidence on Marcia Otacilia Severa, the wife of the emperor Philip the Arab. Particular attention will be paid on the titulature of the Augusta, with a comparison between epigraphic sources, which are all unofficial in nature, and the coin issues from the mint of Rome.
