Recent evolutions in european development cooperation strategy: a geographical analysis European institutions are reviewing policies and strategies of development aid, changing their procedures, the actors involved and in some cases purposes of international cooperation. The article analyzes this evolution from a geographical perspective. Three issues are highlighted: the policy of “differentiation”, the role of civil society and the rise of the private sector.
