THE GEOHISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT OF THERMAL TOURISM IN SPAIN: THE INNOVATIVE POLITICS IN ACT 
The development of the therapeutic usages of the medical waters in Spain has old origins. In this paper are described the different periods of crisis and growth, the renaissance of thermalism in the 18th Century, the age of Restoration in the 19th Century, the mass tourism, the new Spa in the 20th and the health tourism with his innovative structures.
