This paper investigates the short metrical scholia and annotations on Euripides’ Hippolytus by the hand of Demetrius Triclinius in the codex Laur. pl. 32,2 (L). It examines his interventions and conjectures on the poetical text (mostly in the choral sections), the meaning of the terminology he used and the similarities between the work on this tragedy and the extant metrical exegesis by the early Triclinius.
